in time magazine they had an article about the iowa court ruling in favor of gay marriage. i think that iowa made a fantastic move in that ruling. there is no reason that two people who love eachother should not be allowed to marry. i think we are coming closer and closer everyday to being country that really does have equal rights for all.

I agree with you. A friend of mine sent me an article from the Chicago paper -- Iowa has ALWAYS been out front with respect to civil rights, including outlawing miscegenation, making education available to all, etc.
